The Official Texas State Arts & Crafts Fair is one of the top ranked arts and crafts events in the nation. Located at the River Star Arts & Event Park, it displays big tents laced among the trees to create the atmosphere of an old-fashioned fair. Tempting smells of good food and thirst-quenching drinks permeate the air.

Buy a treasure from one of the 200+ artisans on-site eager to visit with you about their work. Support student artists as they show and sell their work and compete for scholarship money as part of the Emerging Texas Artist Scholarship Program. Relax under a big tree, tent or in the covered pavilion and eat a snack from one of several concessionaires or one of the culinary arts exhibitors. Enjoy the music played throughout the Fair everyday and cheer on contestants as they sing their hearts out for the chance to be the next Texas Star. Bring your children! Let them experience art and express their artistic side. From cave painting to performance opportunities, a rock-climbing wall to a petting zoo, there’s something to keep people of all ages entertained!
